You can now choose to add Hazardous Sports & Activities Including Scuba Diving if required.

200+ activities are already covered as standard, however some require additional cover and we can include Scuba Diving down to 40 Meters (with Level 3).

Specific Diving Holidays are included, Inc. Wreck Diving, Liveaboards, Sea Ambulance and Hyperbaric Chamber treatment.

No age limit on our single trips policies and up to age 85 years of age on annual policies.

Top Tip Checklist
When completing your on-line quote please consider the following options which may help reduce your premium.

The cover period must be the full duration of your booked trip. (i.e. the date you leave your home to the date you return back to your home shown on your flight tickets).

If your policy is for a couple or family, do you all Scuba Dive? Maybe look at splitting the insurance (i.e., only a policy with Scuba Diving Cover for the actual Diver of the family and the rest of the family may have a separate policy without the diving added).

Skiing cover is best not to be put on Annually. An additional Single Trip policy for 1 week skiing in Europe will be a lot cheaper than adding skiing cover for the whole year.

Also note the big difference to exclude the USA, Canada, Caribbean and Mexico as these countries can be added later if you did happen to book such.

Adjust the Excess Levels to see how much you could save.

Check the Cancellation and Curtailment levels suit your needs. (i.e. reducing this can reduce the premium).

Adjust the baggage cover levels to suit your needs.

By taking the insurance closer to the holiday it becomes cheaper.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditons (PEMC) - Please note we cover many pre-existing medical conditions as standard or for customers with more serious pre-existing medical conditions we might charge an additional premium to include cover.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions:
The Money and Pensions Service has launched a travel insurance directory for people with serious pre-existing medical conditions (PEMCs) on its Money Advice Service website.
If you’re looking for travel insurance and have a PEMC you may wish to visit the above website in order to find alternatives.
However, please be mindful that although they may cover you for a PEMC they will have many other terms and conditions in their policy which are different from ours at Westfield, and therefore may not adequately cover you for your Scuba Diving risk.
